  • CEO of IMARK | Executive Director of IMARK Impact

    Dr. Roberta Marcenaro Lyon is CEO of IMARK, a leading consulting firm specializing in cross-border business development, and Executive Director of IMARK Impact. She plays a key role in bridging Italian and U.S. markets through strategic guidance and international collaboration.

    Holding a Ph.D. in Urban Planning and currently representing the American Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., and Texas, Dr. Lyon brings deep expertise in navigating complex global markets. She is the author of Mobile Cities, where she introduced “Planning Ahead”—a forward-thinking framework that reimagines urban planning, logistics, and adaptive strategy.

    At IMARK Impact, she leads initiatives focused on education, entrepreneurship, and cross-cultural exchange. Known for her thoughtful leadership and strong commitment to meaningful impact, Dr. Marcenaro Lyon helps businesses and institutions respond effectively to today’s global challenges.

    Atticus Lyon is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and the luxury goods industry. As Partner at IMARK and COO of IMARK Impact, he brings strategic leadership and a strong track record in business growth and global market expansion.

    Since 2016, he has served as Partner at IMARK Holdings, helping guide the firm’s consulting and investment strategy. He began his career in corporate finance and M&A at Enron and Rothschild, advising on major transactions in the energy and retail sectors.

    Atticus holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Houston.

    • Pi of Life: The Hidden Happiness of Mathematics (2017): In this book, Singh delves into how mathematical concepts intertwine with elements essential for lifelong happiness, such as humility, gratitude, and connection. He blends classic wisdom with over 100 pop culture references to present mathematics as a source of personal joy.​

    • Math Recess: Playful Learning in an Age of Disruption (2019): Co-authored with Chris Brownell, this work advocates for a playful approach to mathematics education. Singh and Brownell argue that embracing playfulness can transform the learning experience, making mathematics more engaging and meaningful for students.​​

    • Chasing Rabbits: A Curious Guide to a Lifetime of Mathematical Wellness (2021): In this work, Singh inspires readers to embrace lifelong mathematical curiosity. He portrays mathematics as an ongoing journey of exploration and wonder, promoting a mindset of continuous discovery and intellectual growth.​

    Amy Alznauer is a distinguished author and educator with a Master of Fine Arts degree. She teaches calculus and number theory at Northwestern University, blending her passion for mathematics with her talent for storytelling. Her writing has earned prestigious accolades, including the Annie Dillard Award for Creative Nonfiction and the Christopher Award and has been selected as a New York Times Best Children’s Book.​

    Her acclaimed book, The Boy Who Dreamed of Infinity: A Tale of the Genius Ramanujan, was celebrated as a Booklist Top Ten Biography and a Chicago Public Library Best of the Best selection.​

    ​Amy's upcoming work, The Five Sides of Marjorie Rice: How to Discover a Shape, slated for release on March 4, 2025, is a captivating picture book biography that highlights the inspiring journey of Marjorie Rice, an amateur mathematician who made groundbreaking contributions to geometry.​

  • Dr. Gina Cherkowski is a globally recognized social justice educator, researcher, innovator, and thought leader in education. With a double-cognate PhD in Mathematics Education and Culture Studies, Dr. Cherkowski’s work sits at the intersection of STEM education, neurodiversity, and mental health and equity. Her career spans K–12 and post-secondary education, where she has designed innovative curriculum and professional learning courses delivering transformative learning experiences across Canada and internationally. A passionate advocate for inclusive education, Gina’s work empowers educators and learners alike to reimagine what is possible in math and STEM learning environments. Whether through her research, teaching, or thought leadership, Dr. Cherkowski continues to inspire systemic change and champion equity in education on a global scale.
